I've been searching for so long
Trying to find a place I can call home,
Somewhere I belong,
A place I can call all my own.

I've been looking for all my years,
Trying to find someone to dry these tears.
Somewhere I belong,
Someone I can call my own.

I've been dreaming of this moment,
Trying to find a place to be content,
Somewhere I belong,
A place I will never again be alone.

I've been daring to find my soul
Trying to get to my final goal
Somewhere I belong
All this time I should have known

I've been wishing all my life
Trying to find you in the night-life.
Somewhere I belong
A place I can call my home.

I've been looking for you my love
Trying to be a happy part of
Somewhere I belong
In a place I would never have known

I've seen you in a new light my friend
And I can now no longer pretend
That somewhere I belong
Is not the place that I have grown

I've found you and so you've shown
I'm no longer left on my own;
Somewhere I belong
Is in your arms. I feel at home.

By the way, I don't understand why no one else has faved it yet.
It's really good but people here don't bother looking at something that's writing.
Take my poems for example, everyone who reads them tells me they're really good
but around here no one bothers to even read them.
Poerty and prose may not be as flashy or as visualy interesting as drawings or photos but that does not mean it's not good.
sorry for the rant, I just had this in my head for awhile and wanted to finally tell someone ^^;

Unfortunately, I know the feeling. I only have one person who reads all my things, and that's my best mate. I try to make any kind of interesting piece of literature and no one reads it. Pictures are too easy to look at and move on, where poems take time to read to appreciate.

Perhaps one day I'll publish a book and see 5 people buy it.. All friends and family. I suppose there's always someone better.. Take you, for example :)

The only two people that usually fav all of my work are two of my friends who have DA accounts.
But all of my friends tell me I have so much talent.
Not just in writing either.
I also draw.
Some of my earlier drawings are..well, suckish ^^;
But I have gotten better and my most recent drawings from this year are really good.
I just wish I knew how to post them...

Scan them in and upload. With the upload thing when you create a deviation, choose select from file.
I look forward to seeing them.. I also draw too, but only one picture of mine is on here. After scanning, they seem to look a lot worse than I think they were. Perhaps I'm just not that good.

Everyone has talent in some area.. It's just a matter of tapping it for the good of others, in my opinion.
